This mom is just like you. I want my kids to have a future in which democracy is thriving and where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness".
My Story
I was born and partially raised in central Pennsylvania. I proudly come from a military family that taught me respect for others, service to your community, and pride in my country. I have had the privilege to live in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. This experience has allowed me to work with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. I believe being able to empathisze with others from different backgrounds is a key to being a successful leader.
I went to the University of West Florida for a Bachelor's degree in cultural anthropology and Master's Certificate in GIS Archaeology. Later on I studied in Los Angles, CA for an associate's degree in veterinary technology. I have found that my passion lies in working with children and animals and I will always seek to do what is right for them. I have a husband and two young sons (who drive me crazy), along with two dogs and three cats. But when it comes down to it, I am just a country girl who loves kids, animals, and raising chickens (and hopefully miniature cows in the future).
